- "Endling" is the name of a last known living individual of a species
- Example: Martha the American passenger pigeon that died 1pm September 1st 1914
- Endling also sounds like something from DND
- Idea for DND char: some Hobbit like being that is known to live for 1000s of years.
- But the player is the last known one, and is kinda infamous.
- Their species was known to be kind, helping, and just.
- The player? Is like a Kennedy child. Brought up thinking they were going to save the species.
- So the could do nothing wrong, and was massively wealthy during upbringing.
- This causes what becomes the Endling to not understand rules, laws, consequences.
- Which results in an eccentric jerk of a being. And has lost all wealth, assets etc.
- Most everyone feels sad, and kinda looks out for the Endling but also hates them because they're a jerk face.
- So every town the group goes to they have to deal with the people being a mix of awe and disdain.
- And every so often have to deal with an evil faction of watchers known as the Flash Razzis (aka paparazzi) who speed draw using bright lights what the Endling is Doing, for profits 😁
